What Alice Says…
A beauty industry expert, Alice Hart-Davis is an award-winning beauty journalist and published author.
What is MZ Skin Light Therapy Golden Mask?
“This solid shield of a mask has gaps over the eyes, nose, and mouth, so you can still see out (and breathe). On the inside, there are LED lights which emit red (collagen-boosting, anti-inflammatory), or blue (acne-busting), or clear (regenerating and calming), or green light (to reduce pigmentation) or even red and blue light together. “
What’s the MZ Skin Light Therapy Golden Mask like to use?
“The mask is quite heavy, so it is easier to use it lying down. The eye holes are large enough to see out without being blinded by the light, so it is possible to watch TV while wearing it, as long as you are close enough to be able to plug the device into an electrical socket.”
Verdict
“A terrific product. Anyone with any skin type can use this and will see benefits if they use it regularly enough.”

Medicine Meets Beauty
Founded by Oculoplastic Surgeon and leading facial aesthetics doctor, Dr. Maryam Zamani, she believes that “a beautiful complexion starts with a consistent, daily skincare routine – less is more.”
After treating female skin all over the world for many years, Dr Zamani found that creating and maintaining an effective skincare routine was not always easy.
”I conceived MZ Skin as a doctor-led brand made for women by a woman. For me, anti-ageing skincare is about revealing, enhancing and protecting.”
“That’s why after many years of medical practice, I decided to establish my own brand and create MZ Skin.”
Targeted Treatments
The device contains Red, Blue, Green, Yellow and White Lights, all which target different skincare concerns.
Red Light (630nm): Stimulates the production of the skin’s ‘youthful’ cells, Collagen and Elastin, so is perfect if you’re looking to treat the signs of ageing. It can also help with signs of inflammation.
Blue Light (430nm): Ideal for treating acne-prone skin, Blue Light balances and clarifies the skin, killing the bacteria that causes acne.
Green Light (520nm): This calms the skin. It’s perfect for dealing with pigmentation such as age spots and reducing the appearance of broken capillaries.
Yellow Light (570-590nm): This is the one for treating sensitive skin. It boosts circulation and lymphatic flow (drains toxins) as well as soothing and comforting the skin.
White Light (450-460nm): This treatment penetrates the deeper layers of the skin to promote healing and skin repair.
